    One question, if I may.. What was the platform for the development environment- what was the windows version?  

    I tried to use icaste and it would not install properly.

    It was Windows XP, I believe he has a new version at http://www.icaste.com/jcommusb.htm

    Thanks for the reply… I will try XP, I tried their new version on Windows 7 64 bit.   I may have to try on Windows 7 32 bit.
